After a successful 2016 Cake Festival at the Soweto Theatre on the 12th of November 2016 we have now organised the 2rd Annual Soweto Cake Festival Expo. This one will be bigger and better with some few baking suppliers and beverage companies involved . You will find coffee and tea companies this years. The 2rd Annual Soweto Cake Festival Expo will kick off ‪on Saturday the 6‬ May 2017 at Uncle Toms Hall in Orlando West Soweto. This festival is a premier industry event in Soweto and Gauteng.

It offer a unique opportunity for industry gurus, home based traders as well as starters. Exhibitors will open up their services to hundreds of visitors while establishing links in the industry. The festival is enriched with healthy options, education about the industry and a wide range of opportunities for visitors. Visitors will be able to taste for free buy slices and also make orders. We will also have short baking master classes on cake decorating and baking. Visitors will vote for different categories and there will be many prizes to be given away.

There will be music, wine tasting, baking workshops for kids and adults and some live performance. There will be cake tasting, cake exhibition and cake buying.Some of the Funds raised from the festival will be utilized to assist underprivileged students with university registration fees in 2018 in order to help build a brighter tomorrow for our future leaders. We will be working with an NGO called Bake 4 Fees to identify needy students.
