The road to Fill Up Orlando Stadium is coming to an end and it looks like history is about to repeat itself. In October 2015 Cassper Nyovest filled up The Dome in Johannesburg which seats 20 000 people. This time around he is on a mission to fill up the historical Orlando Stadium in Soweto on the 29th of October 2016.

In 2015 when the event was announced, the 25 years old got a lot of criticism and doubt but managed to pull off a good event. Those who watched The Fill Up The Dome dvd on Channel O bared witness to that.

This year he is aiming to double it up with Fill Up Orlando Stadium, which has set a target of 40 000 people. Nothing can stop the 25 year old from reaching his goals as he was seen in the streets helping his team to hand out flyers.

MTN, who is the official sponsor of the event also had a talent search, which ran under the banner “It’s Our Time”. In this talent search, the event organisers search for three talented, unsigned artists who would eventually get an opportunity to perform at Orlando Stadium. After a a long search which included a voting tally, the winners were confirmed as; Mochene, Jay Makopo and K Zaka.

This year, it has been promised that the Fill Up Orlando Stadium will be a more musical concert than last year’s event. With MTN signing up as a sponsor to help the event become a success we can sure expect a fantastic show from Cassper.

The event is getting closer and closer Cassper will have Somizi Mhlongo as the MC for the concert. The rapper has also roped in fellow South African artists such as: Babes Wodumo, Nasty C, Khuli Chana and many more.
