On the 29th of October the iconic Orlando Stadium was packed with fans and artists who came to support the fill up Orlando stadium event. History was made as Cassper Nyovest had over 30 000 fans flock Orlando Stadium.
The event had the likes of South Africa’s iconic babe: Babes Wodumo, it also had Nasty C, Major League Djs, Dj Tira, Kwesta, Nadia Nakai, Khuli Chana, Mgarimbe, DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Doc Shebeleza and many more performed.
It has been months since the award winning star started pushing and promoting this event and finally it happened and was a huge success. There were 2 MCs for the night: the one and only Somizi “Somgaga” Mhlongo and Boitumelo “Boity” Thulo and they sure did turn things up at the music concert. They were an incredible pair that kept the crowd going as well as entertained the crowd even if it meant trying twerking on stage.
Cassper gave a spectacular performance; he delivered on his promises. It all was a show stopping event that blew the crowd away. The artist played tracks from all his albums taking his fans through his musical journey, the crowd kept to their feet as they enjoyed every minute of it. Nigerian Superstar Wizkid was there to support Nyovest and to perform with him. Babes Wodumo and Cassper made a great duo on the dance floor which set the crowd on ballistic mode. Cassper also gave a heart warming performance dedicating it to his grandmother who passed on last year, fans saw him shed a few tears before singing his songs about his late grandmother.
The star-studded line-up with no doubt attracted a big crowd and added the much-needed flavour required at the concert. Doc Shebeleza was there to perform and support Cassper and even gave him gifts as part of saying well done. The crowd went crazy when Doc Shebeleza came out and did his old school dance moves on the stage. Cassper and Doc Shebeleza moved the crowd with their dance moves.
At the end of the event Nyovest made an announcement that he plans on filling the FNB Stadium up next year. All we can do now is wish him luck for another iconic event in South African music history.
